Item Description
You can now have a special memento of Mendocino and the Festival during this special year! Mendocino Music Festival photographer Nicholas Wilson shot this beautiful new photo of Mendocino village across Mendocino Bay on July 17, 2011, with the MMF Concert Hall Tent prominently visible on a gorgeous summer afternoon during the Festival's 25th season. This is a 9"x14" archival ink on paper color print, mounted and matted by the artist and ready for framing in any 16 x 20 standard size frame (not included). Nicholas Wilson has been an independent fine art and documentary photographer in Mendocino since 1971. He will mount a 40-year retrospective exhibition at Mendocino's Odd Fellows Hall next December. His photo book, "Mendocino in the Seventies" was published in 2006, and chronicles the people, places and events of that period. His fine art scenic photographs have been shown and sold through galleries including the original Zacha's Bay Window, Highlight, and the Mendocino Art Center Gallery. His photos have been published nationally and internationally in such prestigious publications as the New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, Der Spiegel, and the programs and brochures of the Mendocino Music Festival.
