Item Description
Bolduc's art deals primarily with abstract interpretations of nature. Currently, she's working mostly in encaustic. This hot wax and oil method of painting affords a unique experience of both texture and color. The multiple depths achieved by building up and subtracting layers from the surface results in a visually tactile image which exemplifies the ‘push pull’ use of pictorial space.
Bolduc's work is included in collections throughout the country (including Kate Clinton and Urvashi Vaid's).
She teaches at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and various art centers.
Item Special Note
Original encaustic on panel, 8" x 24", signed in verso.
