Composer Cody Wright's music has been performed at La Schola Cantorum in Paris, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall in Boston and at Carnegie Hall in New York City, by distinguished performers such as the Flux Quartet, the Yesaroun' Duo, and pianists Maho Nabeshima, Sergey Schepkin and Izumi Tateno. Mr. Wright received his orchestral premiere in Spring 2004 when the Carnegie Mellon University Philharmonic performed his Temps Perdu. The piece was the winner of the 2004 Harry G. Archer Memorial Student Composers Orchestra Competition. His work Adoratio was recently given its NYC debut in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall by flutist Peg Cornils and pianist Maho Nabeshima.
