Item Description

The Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art at St. Petersburg College, Tarpon Springs was built to house the 20th Century paintings, sculptures, works on paper, tapestries and stained glass by Abraham Rattner, Esther Gentle and Allen Leepa. Through his use of color and movement, Rattner expressed reactions to the major world events of the 20th century. Esther Gentle, Rattner’s wife, was a printmaker, sculptor and painter. Her son, Allen Leepa, was an abstract expressionist painter and noted author.
