Item Description
Karen Zilly, artist and Shenspace principal, has very generously offered this painting of a Buddha bathed in pacifying blues and enlivening greens from her current body of Eastern-inspired work. The painting is entitled "Effortless."
Ms. Zilly is self-taught and makes her living as an artist in New York City. Her work draws from nature, literature, photojournalism, and Eastern influences, blended with the experience of travel and city life. In addition to work she produces for the general public she works with private buyers and interior designers doing custom site-specific work.
Dimensions: 24" w. x 36" h.
Medium: Acrylic on reclaimed canvas. UV non-glare protective varnish for color longevity.
Installed: Dark finished edges with slim profile when hung on wall. Gallery-wrapped edges suitable for display without a frame. Hanging wire on back.
