ABOUT US
Culinary trend watchers and food writers have been predicting the emergence of a distinctive regional cuisine in Maine for several years, and now Maine Food & Lifestyle magazine gives this unique foodshed its own voice.
"Maine is where you find the food action in New England," according to Corby Kummer, author and reviewer for Boston Magazine and Atlantic Monthly.
"Home-grown chefs and newcomers from all over the country have evolved cooking styles with a strong sense of place, the beginnings of a regional, seasonal Maine haute cuisine," noted the late great R.W. Apple, Jr., of the New York Times.
While food mavens everywhere have recognized the exciting culinary talent in Maine, Maine Food & Lifestyle is in the best position to tell our local food stories because it is written and produced right here in Maine.
Buy your food locally...it's good for you and for all of us.
