Item Description
Join an expert naturalist for an educational outing in Yosemite's summertime high country. You pick the date (late June - early September) and we'll provide a campsite for three nights in the coveted Tuolumne Meadows Campground for up to six people.
One of Yosemite Conservancy's top-notch program leaders will spend a day out with you for great discoveries on Sierra trails. Yosemite was the first federally protected natural area and John Muir spent some of his key formative years here; Tuolumne Meadows was a favorite spot of his. Tuolumne has alpine peaks, conifer forest, a vast subalpine meadow, glacier tracks, archeological and historic sites, and a gorgeous global conservation history. Its World Heritage Site status and its depiction on US currency are further testaments to why a Yosemite education experience should be on your 2012 summer itinerary.
In addition, you'll receive Tuolumne area maps, Yosemite water bottles and some other useful and informative supplies. You'll also receive two issues of the new Yosemite Conservancy magazine, which provides a unique insider's view on park happenings and events.
Item Special Note
This package is available June through early September 2012 based on campsite available (winning bidder should make plans early to secure preferred dates).

Winning bidder is responsible for providing their own transportation to/from Yosemite as well as their own food and camping equipment as these items are not included with this package. Campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker, and is near a bathroom with potable water and flushing toilets.
