Founded in 1968, Berkeley Repertory Theatre has established itself as one of this country's top-ranking professional resident theatre companies, known for its consistently high-quality productions. Winner of the 1997 Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre, its national reputation draws theatre artists from around the country to work on a variety of productions from September through July.

Each season consists of productions of the finest classic, contemporary and new plays. 2011/12 Season shows include Rita Moreno: Life Without Makeup (ends 10/30/11 and may be sold out), Ghost Light co-production with Oregon Shakespeare Festival, A Doctor In Spite of Himself by Moliere, and In Paris featuring Mikhail Baryshnikov.

Under the leadership of Artistic Director Tony Taccone and Managing Director Susan Medak, Berkeley Rep's choice of material and bold, vivid style of production reflect a commitment to diversity, excitement and quality. The company is especially well known for its fresh adaptations of seldom-seen classics, as well as its presentation of important new dramatic voices.

Lalime's is located in the Westbrae neighborhood of Berkeley on Gilman Street (not too far from Berkeley Rep Theater) - open for dinner seven days a week.

Two Tickets Gift Certificate to the Berkeley's Repertory Theatre good for One (1) Performance during the 2011/12 Season. Ticket Voucher can be redeemed at the Box Office in exchange for two tickets to a Tuesday 8pm, Wednesday 7pm, Thursday 2 or 8pm, Saturday 2pm, or Sunday 7pm performance.  Reservations must be made at least 10 days in advance.
