NY SKYRIDE, the City’s only virtual tour simulator, offers a perfect sightseeing experience of New York City’s most famous landmarks and attractions and makes this the perfect school field trip for any class. Located on the second floor of the Empire State Building, fantasy comes to life via specially designed seats and moving platform that moves in sync to a two story tall HD screen. Students will fly over the Statue of Liberty…Jump into a virtual video game sequence in Times Square…Ride the world famous Cyclone roller coaster in Coney Island and much, much more without ever leaving their seat.
NY SKYRIDE offers state approved school curriculums for grades 6-12 available for free downloading from their website making them one of the most creative and exciting NYC Educational Group Tours. Students will enjoy the fun and educational elements of the NY SKYRIDE. The curriculums include activities for pre-visit, on-site in New York or post-visit assignment. NY SKYRIDE gives students a unique perspective of the city that is not possible to gain in any other way.
The complete NY SKYRIDE experience runs for one half hour and includes 2 pre-shows describing the history of the Empire State Building as well as an overview presentation on all that New York has to offer visitors.
* Tickets are only valid at student rate. Adult tickets and additional student tickets can be purchased.
* Tickets are good for one year, and can only be used one time.
* It cannot be combined with any other offer.
* Blackout dates do not apply but subject to availability.
* People with a history of heart ailments, neck or back pain, motion sickness, fainting or dizzy spells should exercise caution. Pregnant women should not ride. Minimum height is 36".
* Children may not sit in a lap and must be able to sit in a seat by themselves.
