Spend some hands-on quality time in the center of NY's Finger Lakes Region with the people who help make it great!

This two night package includes a day behind the scenes helping to create the Finger Lakes experience, and a day of enjoying the fruits of your labor, touring and tasting all that makes the Finger Lakes such a hot epicurean destination. You'll stay at charming Barrister's Bed & Breakfast, a gorgeous Victorian B&B in historic Seneca Falls, with hosts Diane & Ken McConnell.

After you check in and do a little exploring, you'll want to to bed early, because you're up at dawn to learn cheese making from the ground up. With a homemade, hand-packed picnic breakfast in hand, you're off to milk and feed the cows, and tour the farm with Tom Murray, one of the founding members of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail. Work in the tasting room. Learn about the different cheeses and how they're made. And enjoy a little cheese tasting yourself. Then, it's off to learn the art of ice cream making at Cayuga Lake Creamery, named the best ice cream parlor in New York by USA Today. Owner and ice cream maker Jeff Kostick will teach you what goes into making gourmet ice cream that features local ingredients. Next it's off to be a wine maker. Get a winery and winemaking lesson from winemaker Justin Paolicelli at the unique Three Brothers Wineries and Estates on Seneca Lake, home to three distinctly different wineries and a microbrewery all in one spot. Finally, finish up your work day in the kitchen of one of the Region's top restaurants, Vineyard 108 at the Hotel Clarence in Seneca Falls. Assist Chef Sean as he creates his fine, regional cuisine from scratch. Then it's back to Barrister's for some well deserved rest.

But the next day, it's all play! Start off with a decadently relaxing massage after a full gourmet breakfast. Next, your stretch limo will pick you up and whisk you off to spend the day exploring the Cayuga and Seneca Lake wine trails. Finish the day with dinner at Vineyard 108 again, but this time Chef Sean will do all the cooking for you.
