Item Description
"Embrace" is one in a series of sculptures that were made in response to an inner deliberation on passage and re-balance. The purpose was to express the latent resiliency that transcends the absence born of loss, or a possibility of movement, captured in brief moment of stillness, that presages this state. The sculpture's dimensions are 7"x3"x3".
Erik Rehman is a 1998 graduate of the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, with a BFA in ceramics. He currently lives and works in Burlington, where he teaches at the Living/Learning pottery co-op at UVM. His work has been featured in exhibitions at galleries throughout Vermont and in Nebraska.
