For auction is a stay in a beautiful 2 bedroom detached Schuss Mountain Village (www.shantycreek.com/lodging/schuss.php) condo within the Shanty Creek Resort (www.shantycreek.com), including 2 full baths, bordering the 18th hole of the Schuss Mountain Golf Course with views of the Schuss Mountain ski slopes and walking distance to Ivan's for Apres-ski entertainment and fun. Shanty Creek Resorts in Bellaire, just northeast of Traverse City, is a four-season resort that has been has been ranked Silver Medal Resort by Golf Digest, Top 25 Golf Resort by Travel & Leisure 2003 Reader's Survey and Best Golf Resort in Michigan by The Detroit News Reader's Poll. Schuss is one of 3 villages within the 4500 acre hardwood forest resort; a short walk away from one of Michigan's "best" ski resorts and "top" public golf courses. Schuss Mountain has long defined skiing in Michigan. So it's no surprise Shanty Creek was rated "Best Downhill Terrain in the Midwest" by OnTheSnow.com's visitors. Now with 53 runs on its two mountains and featuring 4 terrain parks, a 300' half pipe, more than 175" of snow, and a 450' vertical drop, Shanty Creek is where terrain meets tradition. Annually named one of the top public golf courses in Michigan, Schuss Mountain is a challenging course carved into Pure Michigan. Schuss Mountain delivers the challenge golfers seek throughout 6,922 yards of abundant wetlands, rolling hills, and wildlife. Other golf courses in the resort include Arnold Palmer's The Legend and Tom Weiskopf's Cedar River. There are numerous other outdoor sports and activities, including cross-country ski trails, hiking, mountain biking, swimming etc.! There are several dining options; including The Lakeview Hotel & Conference Center, which has been newly renovated. Schuss is also within a short drive from other northern Michigan destinations, including Torch Lake, Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs and more - come and enjoy Pure Michigan!

• The Schuss Mountain golf course closes on Oct. 2; the remaining 3 courses close for the season on Oct. 16. They open again next Spring, nominally beginning on April 15 (but, of course, depends on the weather).
• One week during golf season or for fall color corresponds to 7 consecutive days/nights of occupancy. The weekend ski season package corresponds to 3 consecutive days/nights of occupancy. The ski season is typically from around Thanksgiving (specifically November 24, 2011 at Schuss Mountain) thru March but, of course, this too is weather permitting.
• The deal includes lodging only -- no golf fees, lift tickets, meals, etc.

The offer is for either 1 weekend during ski season (which tends to fully book!) or up to 1 full week during golf season. Once a winner is confirmed, their contact info will be provided to Shanty Creek and the winner will be authorized to make a reservation based on availability.
