In keeping with the intimate scale of Hotel Veritas, most of our rooms are fairly small - starting at about 175 square feet. Simple Truth Lounge
The small lobby of Hotel Veritas is called the Simple Truth Lounge — an elegant, intimate place for our guests (and a very few interesing "outsiders") to meet for a cocktail or glass of wine. Our cocktail and beer lists are focused on offering the best libations made in Massachusetts, with a few other regions thrown in for fun. Guests of Hotel Veritas and the Simple Truth Lounge may enjoy some of the finest local cheeses and charcuterie provided by Formaggio Kitchen.
We exclusively serve Ice Glen Vodka, Greylock Gin, and Ragged Mountain Rum — each hand crafted in small batches at Berkshire Mountain Distillers, the Berkshire's first legal distillery since prohibition. They use local crops and fresh water sources to anchor their spirits to the Massachusetts landscape.
Our beer list includes the Boston-based Harpoon Brewery and self-described gypsy brewers Pretty Things. Wines have a more international flavor with an ever-revolving selection of small vintners from Europe and South America.
Location & Directions
Business Travelers
Our business center. located just off the lobby, is available 24-hours-a-day for guests who need computer access and more desk space. While we have many business travelers staying with us, we don't consider ourselves a “business hotel.” All rooms, except for the Petite Queens, have a small writing desk and upholstered chair which are not particularly conducive to lengthy work sessions.
Parking
Valet parking is available for hotel guests in our onsite indoor garage at a nightly rate of $34 with in/out access. Upon arrival at 1 Remington Street, a concierge will be happy to assist with luggage and parking your vehicle. Unfortunately, larger trucks and SUVs may not be accommodated.
