Item Description

Signed by Artist one-of-a-kind 3-Liter Etched Yogi Bottle, Signed Giclee Artist Proof of Pastel Pencil Drawing of Yogi

Available, this time only, is this custom etched, 3-Litre bottle of the exclusive “Yogi” Portrait Series wine signed by Richard Berrelez, founder of the Alie Foundation. This stunning, one-of-a-kind, collectors bottle is accompanied by a beautifully custom wood-framed Giclee Artist Proof of Pastel Pencil Drawing of Yogi (25.5"w x 28.5"H) by well-known artist, Jay P. Snellgrove.  In addition, for your enjoyment, Cru Vin Dogs has added a case of the soon-to-be-retired 2005 “Yogi”, featuring the original, limited-edition Yogi labels signed by artist, Jay P. Snellgrove.

Yogi wine is 75% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blended with 25% Sonoma Dry Creek Valley Syrah. The wine is a deep violet in color, with a nose of brambly wild blackberries, ripe black plum, nutmeg, vanilla, clove, baked pie crust, in the mouth it fits in well with everything else that is going on: cassis, blueberry, prune, more of the dark chocolate, and toast.  As I’ve said before, a well-made wine deserves a well-made label. Take a look at the stunning label artwork, conceived by artist Jay Snellgrove.”

“Yogi and Alie” – Our Heroes
"Yogi” was a very special Bloodhound who spent seven years tracking down criminals, unearthing crime-scene clues and finding missing persons, including "Alie" and her suspected killer.

“Alie” was a spunky five-year-old who's life was taken too soon.  Little Alie Berrelez disappeared on May 18th, 1993 from her Colorado neighborhood and was found murdered in Dry Creek Canyon. After days of unsuccessful searching, it was Yogi who tracked Alie's scent and lead the authorities to the end of the search.  Alie is a hero in the hearts and minds of her family and many others.  She inspired her grandparents to start The Alie Foundation to provide bloodhounds to law enforcement and conduct child safety education.
