A two-hour walk through the research farm at High Mowing Organic Seeds tasting as you go, from hundreds of organically grown vegetable varieties including multi-colored carrots, lettuce and other greens, greenhouse tomatoes, cabbage, leeks, and much more. This walk for 6 is meant for serious foodies, chefs or others with a desire to learn more about the incredible diversity of vegetables that can be grown even in our short season. The walk is lead by founder and president of High Mowing, Tom Stearns. Bring your farm boots and get your taste buds ready for the ride of their life. Each participant will be sent home with arms overflowing with the favorites of what they tasted.
Item Special Note
High Mowing Seeds will be in touch with the winner to set-up a time
that works for both the winner and HMS. The tour can take place in
October 2011, or during the 2012 growing season.
