Item Description
Amherst Country Club's 18 hole public golf course was founded in 1965 by Robert and Arleen Currier on the fertile river-bottom land that was once his father's. Today, the family still maintains ownership and management of the course.
The Championship course at Amherst combines thoughtful and artistic design with the natural pastoral scenery on its 140 acres. Sprinkled with a variety of wooded and water hazards, the challenging 6,665 yards are skillfully interwoven with the winding Souhegan River.
Amherst's greens offer a wide variety of shapes, sizes and gentle contours. The course comfortably blends its manicured turf with a tremendous array of mature native trees and other wild vegetation.
Item Special Note
Good for weekdays only, no weekends or holidays.
