Item Description

This wood Native American-style flute (NAF) is made by internationally renowned flute maker. J.P. Gomez of Sedona, Arizona.  This auction item also includes some basic Native American style flute instructions in print, and a series of at least six online beginner’s lessons in basic NAF, using a Web video service such as FaceTime,  Skype or Oovoo,* if the auction winner would like some orientation/direction/help getting started on their Native American flute journey.

This flute is a vintage Heartsong Hummingbird Flute <http://heartsongflutes.com/> in like-new condition. The wood of the flute body is Mahogany with a Hummingbird block made of Walnut.  It is in the key of B-flat (pentatonic, mode 1 & 4). Value of just the flute alone is estimated at around $300, not including any beginner’s instruction.

This flute was originally created for multi-instrumentalist/vocalist, Gary Cope, and was used on his album, Sacred Water.
