Item Description

Tim Wakefield, the 2010 Roberto Clemente Award winner, and the famous Looney Tunes characters are featured in Knuckled Under By Wakefield, a Warner Bros.' animation art limited edition personally signed by Tim and raising funds for one of Tim's charities, Pitching in for Kids. Wakefield, the first MLB pitcher to be featured in a Warner Bros.' animated limited edition, is well known throughout MLB and New England as one of the most charitable players both on and off the field.

Wakefield joins an elite group of sports legends including Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Andre Agassi, Derek Jeter and Drew Brees, who have all been featured in a Warner Bros. Looney Tunes limited edition.

Knuckled Under by Wakefield combines the talent of ten Warner Bros.' artists and designers using the traditional hand-drawn and hand-painted process of animation, making this art truly exceptional. Ruth Clampett, the art director for Knuckled Under by Wakefield, is the daughter of the legendary Warner Bros. animation director Bob Clampett. The Warner Bros. characters were drawn by award-winning artist, Darrell Van Citters. The background was painted by world-renowned artist, Dennis Durrell. The billboard signs were designed and created by the master of character illustration, Kirk Mueller.

This numbered fine art lithograph limited edition is personally signed by Tim Wakefield, custom framed, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Fine Art Lithographs: Utilizing a traditional printing process, the artist's original image is transferred onto lithography plates. Color images are produced using a four-color separation process, in which four different plates are made for the cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black) inks. When all of the image's individual colors have been printed together onto fine art paper, the combined colors create the vibrancy of the art.
