Item Description
Ms. Buckner says of the origins of "Rufous-side Twohee in Frost" that:
"On cold winter mornings frost forms on what leaves are left making everything softened and silvered.
Towhees are the most secretive of birds, they don't like people to see them from the front. I like the way they
puff up and keep warm on branches in the quiet winter sun.."
The 13-colour print with handpainted elements was silkscreened at Red Twig Studio in Olympia, Washington. It is one of a limited edition of 43 prints.
Dimensions: 6.5" x 8.5" printed on archival paper, hand-pulled on 100% cotton printmaking paper.
