Every year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum welcomes visitors from all 50 states and 100 countries the world over. Since we opened our doors in 1995, we've worked hard to live up to our reputation as the preeminent home for the celebration and study of rock and roll music. With a full calendar of exciting events and an amazing array of exhibits filled with painstakingly preserved and creatively displayed artifacts, this is the ultimate place to learn about rock and roll and how it continues to shape our lives.

Ours is a museum in the traditional sense, but it's not a traditional museum at all.

Just like the music it pays homage to, inside and out, the Rock Hall exudes coolness. From the adventurously wide-open architecture and compellingly eye-popping displays to the sing-along soundtrack of continuously streaming rock and roll hits, this is one museum experience that really gets your heart pumping.

In keeping with our mission, the Rock Hall has terrific educational programs for people of all ages. Preschool children expand their horizons musically and socially in our highly acclaimed Toddler Rock sessions. We keep on Rockin' the Schools, as more than 50,000 students come here every year to learn about the history and significance of rock and roll music. Across the globe and On the Road, our well-received distance-learning program has reached children and young adults throughout the U.S. and in Canada, Mexico and Australia. Adults are welcome to take part in our Rock and Roll Night School classes and we teach teachers how to bring rock music into their classrooms.

And what would a shrine to rock and roll music be without performers? More than 100 artists and musicians come to the Hall every year to put on shows, be part of panel discussions, meet with fans and show their support.
