Item Description
Although mostly self-taught, aviation artist Domenic DeNardo received formal art training at the Rhode Island School of Design and also studied engineering at the University of Rhode Island. As an illustrator, his art has been published in periodicals including Aviation Week & Space Technology, Business & Commercial Aviation, Commuter Air, Time, Wall Street Journal, etc. His paintings have been selected for exhibition and awards by the EAA, CAE SimuFlite/Flying Magazine “Horizons of Flight," New England Air Museum, the Providence Art Club, and the American Society of Aviation Artists.
Item Special Note
This unframed lithograph is signed by the artist and pilot Lt. Col. Robert McClurg of the famous "Black Sheep" Squadron VMF-214. It measures approximately 23 1/4"H x 30 3/4"W and is number 57/850. Certificate of Authenticity included.
