Item Description
This piece is hand built from slabs of clay. The first glaze is applied when the clay becomes leatherhard and then the image is drawn into the glaze surface. A loop tool is used to carve the design into the surface. When completely dry, it is bisque fired and then final glaze is applied. The piece is then fired in a kiln at 1800 degrees.
This wall pocket measures 7.5"h x 8"w x 2.5"d. Pocket hangs on the wall with a leather cord hanger. It decorates, holds a plant, and acts as extra storage.
