Food production has a huge impact on the health of our environment, from the overuse of pesticides and chemical fertilizers (that degrade soil quality and can run off into our lakes and streams) to the petroleum that is burned in food processing and transportation, releasing harmful greenhouse gasses into our atmosphere and the air we breathe. There are choices we can make to support healthier food production with a reduced impact on the environment.

All items and gift certificates may be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office on One Park Drive in Rockland. Gift certificates will be mailed to the winners at no charge. If the winner is unable to pick up an item, it will be shipped to them and they will be responsible for all shipping and handling fees, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped and billed at standard industry rates.
