Item Description
Land For Good offers direct consultation to both farmland owners and to farm seekers about farmland access, farm leasing, farm purchase, and non-traditional farm tenure. For the farmland owner, we can provide an initial assessment of the prospect of leasing to a farmer, options for increasing the agricultural utilization of your land and farmer recruitment, or assisting in the intial development of a lease. For the farm seeker, we can provide land acquisition counseling, preliminary assistance in lease negotiations and development, or provide assistance in the farm purchase process. We can also help owners and seekers with the process of developing non-traditional farm tenure framework. Consultation will be about 4-5 hours under this offering.
Item Special Note
Consultation can take place on site, by phone or e-mail, at our Keene, NH office, or at a meeting location in Southeast VT TBD by mutual agreement.
Travel fees will be required for most site visits.
Depending on the nature of the project, this 4-5 hour visit may completely address your present needs, or may only represent the initial work on a longer more involved project. If you would like to continue to work with us beyond this initial work, we will be pleased to discuss options for continuing with you as desired.
