Item Description
"Hope"
Meredith Rothenberg began acrylic painting at age 12. She attended the Art Institute and studied Graphic Arts, after which she worked as a graphic artist for almost 10 years. She missed the fine arts, and changed her focus back to her origins of acrylic painting. She now concentrates in the genre of neo-pop, neo-cubist art, including work in the theme of justice. Meredith currently accepts commissions for unique and individual pieces of art.
"Hope" was designed specifically for the 13th Annual HOPE Auction. The Scales of Justice are central, and are supported by the hope of all those involved in the justice system. This neo-pop interpretation also portrays the brightness of hope of the individuals.
