Item Description
So this stand has been taylored to all you Doxie lovers! Courtney Tucker works closely with the FACE Foundation as we send many cases to her team at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital located right next door. Courtney said when she saw the squatty little elongated stand with short stubby feet she instantly saw a doxie! The little Doxie Dog is just brilliant! We love that she paited it blue instead of brown. She really "thought outside the stand" on this one :)
Item Special Note
This stand is a unique one-of-a-kind piece of art! Because all stands and artwork have been sealed, they can easily be wiped down with a damp towel for easy cleaning. It is recommended that all stands be used indoors as a precaution against the elements.
Each stand comes with two stainless steel water and food bowls (2 quart for large dog stands, 1 pint for small dog/cat stands).
Approximate dimensions (all dimensions are approximations):
- Large Dog Feeding Stations: Height 11”, Width 24”, Depth 12”
- Small Dog or Cat Feeding stations: Height 5”, Width 18”, Depth 9”
Purchased stands may be picked up from the FACE Foundation office or shipped to buyers (shipping costs will apply).
Artist Bio:
As an artist, I convey a range of emotions and messages through my work. My areas of focus are a combination of intaglio and monotype printmaking, painting, and photography; disciplines that I further explored and refined as a college art major. I enjoy the freedom these areas of art have to offer, and through them I can better express a specific emotional state at any given time, whether it be soft and sensitive one day, or loud and explosive the next. I believe that humans, as multi-dimensional beings, have different sides that may be more prevalent at different times and as such, my work represents an exploration into the psyche and searches for deeper connections. Although much of my work is very personal, I believe viewers can find a way to relate to it that is unique to their own interpretation and experience. The art I create is not only a reflection of how an individual may be impacted by the world they are immersed in (past, present, and future), but also a reevaluation of how one’s own actions, or lack thereof, may influence the world that surrounds them both positively and negatively. With this in mind, many of my pieces deal with global issues and/or surroundings, which are typically represented in a more subtle and abstract manner, creating a work of art that holds more substance than just aesthetic appeal.
