Item Description
Imagine setting aside five days, February 3 - 8, 2012, to find new tools for living with greater ease, joy, depth, resilience and balance! The gift of mindfulness is a short term investment that will help you live more fully for the rest of your life. Consider treating yourself, a friend or family member, to this life-affirming program. Program presenters will be Florence Meleo-Myer and Bob Stahl.
This five-day intensive, residential training program in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction taking place in Norwood, Massachusetts, is a product of the eight-week Stress Reduction Program, founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Highly respected within the medical community, the program supports health enhancement and wellness focused on prevention and learning the "how" of taking good care of yourself as well as feeling a greater sense of balance.
If you have an intention to be proactive about your own health and well-being, and if five consecutive days of engaged learning fits into your busy lifestyle, this intensive residential option is for you. During your five days you will practice mindfulness skills with other people like you, in a highly participatory structured learning environment.
