Artist Bio:

I started my career as a freelance illustrator in the mid-seventies after graduating from the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida and continued studies in sculpture and printmaking at the Kansas City Art Institute.

Having been raised in Miami, Florida, I liked being near a coast and eventually moved to the other side of the country, settling in southern California.

Early on I developed a paper sculpture style that I have used to create ads, book covers, magazine covers, greeting cards and posters. I also work in pen and ink, acrylics, metal, ceramics and computer graphics.

Over the past years I have developed more of an interested in fine art incorporating my paper pieces an d lately more of a mixed media style. My work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the southern United States.
