This auction is for a 3-month Adult Physical Fitness Membership and a Health Assessment at the Memorial Hospital of Union County Health Center.

*Health Center Assessment and Exercise – Medically Supervised Exercise Program

The road to good health starts at Memorial Hospital of Union County.  Many area residents have discovered a fulfilling workout program within easy reach at Memorial’s Health Center.  Our program is designed to help you work toward your optimal level of physical fitness in a comfortable, safe environment through a supervised program of regular exercise. 

The Health Center is filled with state of the art aerobic and strength training equipment as well as shower and locker room facilities. The Health Center staff are experienced and professionally trained with degrees in exercise science to help make it a safe, effective place to exercise.  Your initial assessment includes a heart risk evaluation, a review of your medical history, weight, girth, flexibility and body fat measurements.  We will then work together with you to design a personalized exercise program that is safe, effective and appropriate for your health, age and physical ability. 

Once you have completed your evaluation, you will begin supervised exercise sessions.  Each session includes a warm up, exercise and cool down period.  Your blood pressure is measured before and after exercise and your pulse is monitored after you use each piece of equipment.  Staff will help you develop a conditioning program aimed at improving your strength, flexibility and endurance as well as achieving or maintaining your ideal weight.  Periodic evaluations may be scheduled to measure your progress and update your exercise program.

Item Special Note

For the winning bidder:  Upon the conclusion of the auction, the credit card you used to register for bidding will be charged for the winning bid amount.  Item will be available for pick-up during normal business hours at the United Way office, located at 232 N. Main Street in Marysville, Ohio.  The winning bidder may choose to have the item shipped via U.S. Mail by indicating so via e-mail upon conclusion of the auction.  The cost of shipping will be added to the credit card charge.
