Item Description
A case of Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion 1996 (12 Bottles)
Château La Mission Haut-Brion’s tasting notes :
One first notes a normal color, only slightly evolved, and then suddenly one is struck by the complex aromas of this wine. The aromatic volume is amazing. Inthe mouth it is a wine that first of all is dominated by the cabernet. The tannins are firm, rather powerful and still hardly assimilated into the ensemble. It is the type of wine that one must wait for. The tannic and aromatic strengths are there but remain disassociated. It is a classic wine of a very good year for the Cabernets.
To taste rather between now and 2020.

The climate of 1996 was mostly characterized by its great irregularity. Except for a few days in July, there were no long hot periods. It began to rain rather late in August. The first half of September was temperate but it rained all the time during the second half. Altogether the summer was average with a few nice intervals.
