Join Professor Rebecca Kobrin, Knapp Professor of American Jewish History at Columbia University for a trip to Ellis Island. Visit the place where 12 million immigrants first set foot in America and over 1.5 million Jews. Enjoy a guided tour of the immigration museum in the Great Hall as retrace the steps of those who passed through and talk about how the history of Jewish in America fits into the larger tale of American immigration.
Item Special Note
This fun-filled tour is great for a family reunion, office outing or birthday party. While the tour itself is only 1.5 hours, ferry service to and from the island can add up to 2 hours onto the tour.
Please note: The price does not include the price for the ferry tickets. These need to be purchased ahead of time, separately.
