Join Professor Rebecca Kobrin, the Knapp Professor of American Jewish history, on a fun-filled walking tour of the Lower East side. As you nosh on bialys and pickles, you will walk through more than 150 years of Jewish history and settlement on the legendary Lower East Side. Stops include: the Eldridge Street Synagogue, the Jewish Daily Forward building, legendary Hester Street, the founding site of the B'nai B'rith as well as sites associated with Abraham Cahan and Emma Goldman. The tour can also be customized in accordance with the bidder's interests to focus on topics concerning religion, culture or work-life on the Lower East side,

This two-hour tour can accomodate a group of up to 20 people. The tour includes food stops and is great for a family reunion, a birthday party, an office outing or even a bridal shower.
