This stand is a unique one-of-a-kind piece of art! Because all stands and artwork have been sealed, they can easily be wiped down with a damp towel for easy cleaning.  It is recommended that all stands be used indoors as a precaution against the elements.

Each stand comes with two stainless steel water and food bowls (2 quart for large dog stands, 1 pint for small dog/cat stands).

I am a self taught artist with a history of art in my family dating back to the 30’s and later. Painting is a way I like to express myself. People express themselves in many other ways such as writing, or the way they decorate their home, the clothes they wear or the color of the car they drive etc.

I spent most of my youth growing up in the local mountains and my back yard was about 20 miles of nothing but forest. I used to venture out on my own and spent hours in the forest and I think this is where color, contrast, and abstract form and shape captured my imagination. I used to lie under the trees and look up at the light streaming through the top of the trees. All of the shadows with light flickering through it, different movement as the breeze moved the tree tops making shapes and color merge and work with each other. Breezes moved the trees, captured the colors and painted the pictures for me.

I remember my 4th grade teacher reporting to my parents that I wasn’t paying attention and I was looking out the window most of the time. I think the colors outside my window sparked my imagination and my dreams of painting. I’ve spent many years trying to figure out what form of art I like best and I keep coming back to Abstract because of its natural way of showing movement, grace, color and emotion.

After years of playing with different mediums in art such as pencil, charcoal, pen & ink, water color, pastels and even extensive computer graphics & animation, I’ve found Acrylic to be my favorite to create my abstracts today.
