Item Description
This beautiful hand-turned dubbing brush is a handy tool for any fly tier or rod builder. The brush is perfect for fluffing out the dubbing, while the handle doubles as a burnishing tool for flattening wraps on custom built rods. The length of the handle is approximately six inches.
The wood on the handle is yew and was selected because of its significance to cancer patients. The yew tree is where Taxol is derived from (Taxol is one of the major elements in chemotherapy treatments for breast cancer patients).
Item Special Note
Art is an avid fly fisher and wood turner. His creative wood works are often found in charity auctions in the Anchorage area. He is also an accomplished fly tier and uses a dubbing brush he made.
Shipping additional, $7.
