Item Description

Jersey Autographed by Brandon Marshall specifically for the HOPE Auction.

One of the NFL’s brightest young talents and an icon in the making, Brandon Marshall has the charisma, charm, and model good looks of a Hollywood star and an athletic ability that lands him amongst the best of the best in professional sports. Known for his physic and his ability to break and dodge tackles on the field and his magnetic smile and undeniable star quality off the gridiron; Brandon posses the ability to dazzle and captivate the media and audiences, which makes him one of the most sought after professional athletes and the NFL Star to watch.

A 2-time Pro Bowler and All Pro selection with 413 catches, 5,033 receiving yards, and an average of 12.2 yards per reception, Brandon’s talents we apparent from a young age. Marshall played football at Lake Howell High School in Florida. He also lettered in basketball and track, winning the class 3A State triple jump championship.  He was a scholar athlete at The University of Central Florida, and was selected to the All-C-USA Team.  In 2006, Brandon was drafted to the Denver Broncos in the 4th round. The pick paid off for Denver who unknowingly drafted one of the most talented receivers in the game. In December on 2009, Brandon set the all time NFL record for receptions in a single game with 21 catches. He is also one of five players in NFL history to catch over 100 passes in three consecutive seasons.  In 2010, Brandon was traded to the Miami Dolphins, where he agreed to a four-year, $47.5 million extension.

More inspiring than Brandon's athletic abilities are his contributions to the community.  In 2010 The Brandon Marshall Foundation sponsored hundreds of young football players across the country so that they could attend Camp19, which is a free camp that Brandon hosts annually. Camp19 offers children an opportunity to develop not only individual and team football skills, but life skills as well.  The Foundation also hosted 100 underprivileged kids for every Dolphins home game. Brandon was well known in the Denver community for his philanthropic efforts.  He was heavily involved with Rev. Leon Kelly's Open Door Youth Gang Alternatives after-school program. He treated the children in the program to special outings, including a Broncos' game, a trip to an amusement park, and a holiday shopping trip and party where he teamed up with actor Will Smith to speak to the children at open door youth gang alternatives after-school program. This ignited Brandon’s passion to help children, and he began his journey to provide encouragement and motivation, guidance and opportunities that children in need would otherwise be without. Brandon was recognized as a Denver Broncos Ambassador by the organization for his community efforts in 2008 and was also given the Rising Star Award at the Denver Sports Fan Choice Awards.

Brandon's off the field activities do not stop with his community service. In the off-season Brandon spends much of his time in Los Angeles, taking in all the city has to offer. With his model good looks and his impeccable fashion sense that rivals any young Hollywood star, it's no wonder he is a media and fan favorite. Marshall has been a regular on the set of the NFL Network and has been featured on NFL's "Total Access" numerous times. He has also visited the set of ESPN and has been featured on Sportscenter, ESPNews and First Take. Brandon has also been featured in some of the most circulated magazines in the country including Sports Illustrated, Sporting News, ESPN the Magazine, Essence, The Source and was recently featured on the cover of MOVES Magazine. A star on the field and off the field, this football prodigy is taking Hollywood by storm.  Young, talented and driven, there is no doubt that Brandon Marshall’s star will continue to burn brightly for years to come.
