Item Description
Bring your street legal car to the Cascade Sports Car Club's Driving School on any of five dates in 2012 (to be announced around December 1). Learn how to enjoy the performance of your car at Portland International Raceway's 1.95 mile Road Course. PIR is a track where you can learn car control from a seasoned, race-certified driver.
You'll have an evening "ground school" followed by a day consisting of four 20-minute track sessions, each generally about ten laps long.
The ground school will give you the basics of car control. At the start of the track day, your instructor will ask about your goals, and be ready to take your present skills to a noticeably higher level. Your new skills will lead to greater confidence in everyday driving, even on snow or ice.
A rental helmet will be provided as part of this package. Your car will be inspected for safety before being allowed on the track. Open cockpit cars (covertibles or T-tops) must have a race approved roll bar and seat belts, and convertibles with "pop-up" roll bars are not allowed. All entrants must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license. More information can be found at cascadesportscarclub.org. The gift certificate will be honored at any school in 2012.

This gift is sponsored by Full Circle Development, LLC, an engineering design consultancy located in Vancouver, WA. The owner, Bill Gellatly, is an instructor and vintage sports car racer with a passion for personal growth, independent living and self-determination, all consistent with the mission of ARMS.
Gift Certificate redeemable for services.
