Item Description

The Polaris is an artistic style Pen with a knurled twist cap that advances and retracts the Parker style ink refill.  It's made from a single piece of wood that is about 50% longer than the single pieces on most other 2-piece pens. Overall it is a bit shorter than most pens, which makes it fit the hand nicely and is well balanced, making writing with this pen a pleasure.

Persian Lilac is a common name for the Chinaberry tree, which is more closely related to Mahogany than to Lilac. The tree is native to India, Southern China and Northern Australia, but has been introduced to other warm climate areas of the world such as the southern USA. This wood came from Louisiana.

Naturally the wood is a light color with distinct grain structure, but when it “spalts” it develops the beautiful dark markings randomly intertwined with the light wood to make a unique pattern every time.

Item Special Note

The pen is provided in a black leatherette gold trimmed gift box.
