Item Description
"Yaroslavl Kremlin" is the sixth plate in the “Jewels of the Golden Ring”, a collection of limited-edition porcelain plates created by Master Artist Yuri Leonidovich Dubovikov of Fedoskino, the birthplace of Russian Lacquer miniatures. This plate is produced in layers of pigment and gold in an edition limited to a maximum of 195 firings.
Depicted , Yaroslavl at dawn. A magnificent ensemble of churches and monasteries glitters like jewels amid the snowy trees. White stone walls, vivid terra-cotta tiles, and lacy golden crosses reflect the sky’s opulent colors. As the city awakens, its inhabitants gravitate toward the Church of the Epiphany, the first in a beautiful trio of cathedrals that help distinguish Yaroslavl as one of the most unforgettable cities in all of Russia.
