Item Description
This Color lithograph bears the embossed signature of Marc Chagall and the official seal of the Estate of Marc Chagall, the seal of the Ateller Mourtot; sheet bears Mourtot watermark. Numbered in pencil.
It was purchased at The Blue and White Art Gallery in Jerusalem.
The Blue and White Art Gallery was established in 1967 by Elyada Merioz who was the first Jewish person to settle in the old city of Jerusalem after the six-day-war when the city was reunited. The Gallery is run by the Israeli artist Udi Merioz who is also currently the curator of the Israeli Prime Ministers' Art Collection.
