Item Description
Mary grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Art History. She has always been a lover of the arts and has tried to make time for making art in her spare time. Mary’s studies have taken her overseas, but she is now back living in Indianapolis and enjoying the up and coming art and music scene in the area.
The inspiration for her chair came from her time as a student at IU which made her a loyal IU fan--for both its sports and its academics. She likes the simplicity when it comes to design and wanted to incorporate IU's unique logo as well as our nickname--the Hoosiers. Those are the two symbols of the school that come to her mind when she thinks of IU.
