Item Description
Alpacas...The gentle cousin of the LLama, are bred for their luxurious fiber. Alpaca fiber is light weight, durable, warm and has a thermal quality. In South America alpaca garments are prized and passed down from generation to generation.

The sweater is shown in mauve in extra large. If the buyer prefers, it can be bought in black and in another size.
The donor is RDLN Board member Anita LaRan, also a participant in the program. She is President of Sangre de Cristo Livestock Growers Association and Executive Director of Collaborative Visions, a new sustainable agriculture initiative in Mora, New Mexico. Ms. LaRan led the Enterprize Community Planning process in her area. She participated in RDLN's delegation to the World Conference on Women and has helped orient new Leaders in the program.
