Item Description

This beaded black lady's evening purse is approximately 8" X 6.5," with a shoulder string-like strap.  The purse was made in China.  

Donor Twila Martin-Kekahbah is former Chair of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians and currently consults with the United Tribes Technical College and other organizations.  A former Kellogg Fellow, she is a Board member of the Rural Development Leadership Network, a member of the Office of Women’s Health - Minority Women’s Health Panel of Experts and President of the Board of the Housing Assistance Council.  She has been a business owner and Director of the Turtle Mountain Tribal College.
