Item Description
When a younger man, Armand LaMontagne was known as an exceptional ballplayer. After he found his true calling as a painter, sculptor, and builder, he became friends with "Teddy Ballgame" himself - whom he has represented often in sculptures and paintings. The Kid at the Corners was inspired by a collector's photo of a young Ted Williams at Tiger Stadium in Detroit. This giclée on canvas is hand-stretched, tacked, and signed on the back by the artist.
