Item Description
This delicate cetrine necklace with a fine gold chain has a half-inch circle of yellow stones. Cetrine resembles topaz, and some people believe it has healing qualities.
Donor Twila Martin-Kekahbah is former Chair of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians and currently consults with the United Tribes Technical College and other organizations. A former Kellogg Fellow, she is a Board member of the Rural Development Leadership Network, a member of the Office of Women’s Health - Minority Women’s Health Panel of Experts and President of the Board of the Housing Assistance Council. She has been a business owner and Director of the Turtle Mountain Tribal College.
