Item Description
Eva Zeisel is an industrial design icon, known for her mid-century dinnerware with organic shapes and sensuous curves. She is still working in New York and designed this set when she was 101 years old.
Set of 3 (includes one of each: 6", 8" and 11"). Handcrafted from 100% recycled materials. (Also see the bowl candlestick, available in this auction, to complete the collection).
Made using the ancient method of sand casting, these candle holders get their smooth bronze finish by heating them over raw coals and then dipping them in an aging solution. The process is repeated until the desired color is reached. Bronzing is a natural phenomenon. Slight variations are to be expected and are natural characteristics of the product.
Engraved with Eva Zeisel's signature.
