Item Description

Katie Obbink, our dedicated librarian at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, came across a set of autographed Children of Bacchus novels by the renowned gay fiction writer Andrew Grey. And so Katie offers for bid these titles:

  1. Child of Joy: Graduating from college would be a highlight of any man's life, but Arthur Kraus is different. He's just reached satyr maturity, and he's going out of his mind as he's swamped with sexual urges. In a desperate moment, he invites his roommate to a Bacchanal and asks him to be his first. But after hearing the first-time stories at Bacchanal, Arthur decides to wait for more than physical satiation--not knowing that someone has overheard his decision.

  2. Children of Bacchus: When Travis inherits the title to a large tract of unspoiled woodlands from his estranged father, he travels there and meets Cembran, a solitary figure who has been driven from his home. But the handsome man who captivates Travis is much more than he seems--he is a magical being, a satyr, and he awakens in Travis realistic, erotic dreams the like of which he has never experienced.

  3. Thursday's Child: Finding a satyr caged in a carnival sideshow horrifies Travis and Cembran and forces them to make a daring rescue. A captive for decades, the wild, animalistic satyr named Vauk quickly vanishes into the wilderness on Travis and Cembran's property in search of safety and solitude.
