Item Description

Katie Obbink, our dedicated librarian at the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center, came across four excellent-condition, gay novels, each with a diffrent author, that she felt would make a great auction package. The set of novels includes:

  1. Death in Key West by Jeffrey Round: On a New Year's vacation in Key West, the original gay Shangri-La, special agent Bradford Fairfax and his boyfriend-cum-sidekick Zach meet James Quentin Ashley Vanderbilt II, an "heiress" to one of the world's biggest fortunes who is convinced his own father wants him dead. At first they dismiss him as yet another eccentric millionaire, but when an infamous group of drag queens are found poisoned, Brad and Zach are thrust into a search for the truth.

  2. e-mail by Scott & Scott: Kory Miles has a secret. No matter what his fellow waiters at the Whine n' Dine think, he is really the mastermind behind the popular E-male dating website. But when he enters into a mysterious business deal with Zac Djorvzac, the bitter and jaded owner of Djorvzac Travel, they embark on a wild trip from the city to the suburbs to a tropical circuit party. With a box-dancing contest, conspiring contestants, and a whole group of boys gone wild, will Kory be able to create a romantic tourist getaway over the Internet? Will he be able to match up the real world and online make-believe? And when the truth won't compute, will he be able to resist his own matchmaking system?

  3. Refuge by Carol Lynne: Books onme and two in the Refuge Shifters series are incorporated into this one volume. Each of the two tales focuses on the same three men, their three different backgrounds, and one thing in common--loneliness! Can these three souls come together to form a family?

  4. The Low Road by James Lear: Against the dramatic background of the Jacobite Rebellion, this picaresque novel set in 18-centuryt Scotland follows wealthy naif Charles Gordon as he leaves home to navigate a treacherous world of political and sexual intrigue. With his good looks and irresistible endowments, Charles finds plenty of men willing to lend a helping hand--and more. When he's not busy bedding a sexy stable hand, or a pack of horny pirates, or a regiment of lust-starved troops, Charles finds himself plotting to free the man he loves from jail, even if it means donning crinolines and a bonnet!
