Item Description
Using a plymer litho plate as a surface, artist Ann Guiliano drew this image from a moving car. She works directly with ball point pens and permanent markers, drawing in a frenzy at high speeds! Sometimes the car is going 70 miles per hour and she jots down impressions. When through, she takes the polymer litho back to the studio and prints it using the lithographic process.
The materials used are Litho-polymer plate, Handschy Lithograph Ink on Arches 88 printing paper.
Ann taught art on the college level for a quarter-century. Her work hangs in the permanent collections of the Cape Museum of Fine Arts; U-Mass, Dartmouth; Cape Cod Community College and in a host of private and corporate collections nationally and internationally.
Item Special Note
