Item Description
Award-winning abstract artist and teacher Bonnie Brewer created and donated Golden Day. It’s an oil painting on canvas and measures 9”H x 12”W. Brewer states, “It is exciting for me to alternate between a somewhat representational style of painting and the abstract. I find that each style informs the other and challenges me to respond to what I see in my surroundings and what I imagine. It is so wonderful to be an artist living in this beautiful place. Since September 2008, I have been teaching art classes in my home studio”.
Bonnie has studied with several notable artists, and at the Rhode Island School of Design. She is a member of the Provincetown and Cape Cod Art Associations, and her works may be seen at the Artworks Gallery in Orleans.
