The Pittsburgh Glass Center offers many different 2 hour workshops including:

Blown Glass Ornaments -

            Make your own colorful fall leaf for display inside or out. (HOT SHOP)

Paperweights at the Furnace

            In this paperweight workshop you can learn how to shape and add color to molten  glass to make a unique paperweight. (HOT SHOP)            

Blown Glass Garden Floats

Blown Glass Pumpkins

            Real pumpkins come in all shapes and sizes. So do the ones you'll make in this class! (HOT SHOP)

Experienced artists lead the workshops, which feature small class sizes, with all materials provided. Don’t be intimidated — just pick a workshop in one of our four studios, roll up your sleeves and get started.

Pittsburgh Glass Center is a public access school, gallery and state-of-the-art glass studio dedicated to teaching, creating and promoting glass art. World-renowned glass artists come here to make studio glass art. People interested in learning more about glass come here to take a class, explore the contemporary glass gallery and watch live hot glass demonstrations. Item Special Note

Must be at least 14 years old to take a class at PGC.

Winning Certificate will need to be picked up at Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh by 11am on December 15, 2011.  Certificate will be mailed if it is not picked up by that date.

Shipping and handling will be charged if item is not picked up at Hillel by the proper date.
